The position is a Computer Scientist within ATO Technical Operations, Operations Support, National Airway Systems Engineering (NASE) Group providing second-level engineering support for assigned surveillance, weather and/or navigation systems and associated programs throughout the National Airspace System (NAS).

Duties

Performs a mixture of routine and multiple and varying assignments under the limited direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced technical specialist. Acts as an individual contributor and/or member of a team in supporting surveillance, weather and/or navigation systems by identifying problems or systems malfunctions. May perform some leadership functions for small projects/programs/teams.

All academic degrees and course work must be from accredited or pre-accredited institutions.In addition to meeting the basic qualifications listed above, to qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-G FG/GS-12. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.
