This position is located with the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Superintendent, Wind River Agency in Fort Washakie, Wyoming. This position performs maintenance work that is necessary to ensure that building, equipment, and utility systems remain fully operational, safe, and adequate to meet the needs and requirements of programs and facility users. Duties

Carpentry upkeep and repair. Regulate and repair electrical systems. Repair and/or replace plumbing systems. Gardening and landscaping. Sanitation – trash removal. Abide by safety rules and regulations.

Lifts and carries tools, materials, and ladders weighting up to approximately 50 lbs. Working Conditions: Works indoors with adequate heat, light and ventilation. Exposed to possible cuts, bruises, falls, minor burns, tripping hazards and the possibility of shock if caution is not used in testing of work. Outside work is usually in favorable condition but occasionally done in adverse weather conditions, in the extreme heat or cold temperatures, dusty, windy and frequently subject to disagreeable orders.
