About the Position: Serve as a regional supervisor in the Army Recovery Care and Coordination Directorate (ARCCD), providing professional judgment with a flexible application of a wide range of social science skills. Provides professional, advanced, independent level of skilled social work services to monitor and track military, retired military and family members in support of their rehabilitation and/or transition to civilian life.

Duties

Provide advice, counsel, and instruction to accomplish the assigned functions. Interview candidates for vacant positions, recommends selections, promotions, or reassignments. Evaluate overall performance of employees. Plan, design, and monitor program to reflect DA priorities and to meet the social and cultural needs of Soldiers and Families/Caregivers. Collect, analyze and compile comprehensive reports on service delivery, budget execution and projection. Review, research and comment on proposed legislation policy changes, regulations and studies relative to programs mandated by public law.

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• You may be expected to travel 10% of the time for this position.
• A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed. Are you willing to serve a one year supervisory probation period?

Degree: Bachelor's degree (or higher degree) in behavioral or social science, or related disciplines appropriate to the position. OR B.
