This position is located in Immigration Records and Identity Services, Information Management Liaison Section.
As a Supervisory Immigration Services Analyst, you will oversee a team of analysts performing a wide variety of duties related to the analysis of immigration benefit and enforcement actions.
Duties
Supervise and monitor activities of subordinate employees.
Evaluate performance, distribute workload equitably, and perform quality control reviews to ensure mission goals are successful.
Communicate orally and in writing with people from diverse backgrounds to convey technical information.
Plan and implement specific action plans for accomplishing short-term goals and objectives.
Coordinate and negotiate with customers to ensure complete understanding of their request and the urgency of the need.

Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 07/05/2024.
GS-12: In addition to the requirements at the lower grade level, you qualify at the GS-12 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties:
Coach, motivate, lead and schedule work to team members to achieve the organization or department's goals.
Plan and implement specific action plans for accomplishing short-term goals.
Respond to inquiries from internal and external customers and stakeholders related to immigration records;
Prepare and provide verbal or written technical immigration guidance;
Interpret administrative policies, offer advice, and identify options for solving a problem.
