This position is located at Bureau of Engraving and Printing, within the Integrated Planning Program Office. As a Project Manager, you will serve as the expert advisor and project management for the USCP Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) - ensuring the completeness and accuracy of project schedules; continuity, programming and execution of the IMS; administration and reporting of key events, activities, risks, issues and concerns related to schedule integration.
Duties
As a Project Manager, you will:
Recommend projects and programs - prioritizing and optimizing their impact resulting from legislative changes, executive decisions, programmatic risks and opportunities maximizing senior leader ability for timely and accurate decision making.
Coordinate with USCP project managers and subject matter experts with responsibility for overall planning, coordinating, scheduling and monitoring of various key projects, and providing both authoritative general scheduling guidance as well as specific direction when required.
Plan and carry out largely undefined project management initiatives and activities that require interpreting and determining the impact of new or revised legislation, and develop policies and procedures that ensure continued compliance with project objectives.
Develop customized reporting processes and ensure senior leader dashboards, highlights, reports provide transparency, accuracy, and pertinent information for Executive level decision.
Obtain funding commitments and ensure timely obligation of funds to achieve objectives and develop IMS capability across the organization supported by internal and external efforts.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service.
Specialized experience for this position includes experience:
Utilizing program or project management software such as Microsoft Project; AND
Coordinating and collaborating multiple programs or projects involving multiple internal and external organizations; AND
Presenting and interacting with senior level management.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-14, you must have been at the GS-13 level for 52 weeks.
