You will serve as a Technician in the Sub-Orbital Vehicles Division, White Sands Department of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER PORT HUENEME DIVISION.

Duties

You will serve as a Senior Engineering Technician responsible for technical assignments in support of NSWC Port Hueneme Division White Sands Detachment test and evaluation areas. You will lead and participate as a part of a specialized team that builds and assembles flight test vehicles for testing. You will lead the integration team in the sub-system/full up system environment testing and provide launch support. You will develop and write test procedures for use on complex and one-of-a-kind targets and research rockets. You will lead the system testing, documenting test configuration, and provide written test result reports.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: leading engineering projects and teams to develop, analyze, and test missile systems for a warfare program.
