You will serve as a AUDIOVISUAL PRODUCTION SPECIALIST in the VISUAL INFORMATION DIRECTORATE of NAVAL MEDICAL LEADER AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COMMAND, BETHESDA, MD.

Duties
You will operate and maintain cameras, lights, recorders and audio equipment to produce professional quality video productions that are used to distribute information throughout the enterprise.
You will provide audiovisual production support to audiovisual media productions for Naval Medical activities worldwide.
You will provide editorial and videography services to visual information projects that are primarily completed by the Media Production Department.
You will organize, plan and select video scenes, stock footage, artwork, graphic displays etc. and combine with on-camera sync, off-screen narration, sound effects, music and titles to produce highly professional videotape.
You will design a general program of sound effects to support video programs
You will play prerecorded videos and DVDs according to published schedules on the in-house Cable Television Channels (CCTV).
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- Driver’s License You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experienced editing - organizing, planning and selecting video scenes, stock footage, etc. to produce a professional video
Experience setting up, adjusting, and operating high-definition broadcast cameras
Experience setting up, adjusting, and operating audio equipment
Experience recording technical sound audio
