You will serve as a Producer-Director in the Media Production (MP) Department, Video Project Management Division (VPMD), Visual Information Directorate (VID), Naval Medical Leader and Professional Development Command (NMLPDC) of NAVMEDSUP DET BETHESDA MD.
Duties
You will develop storyboards.
You will develop video scripts.
You will edit video programs, develop artwork and other video production elements.
You will operate HD broadcast cameras.
You will direct video crew and talent.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- The work requires the employee to drive a motor vehicle. You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Producing audiovisual products using many different production methods and techniques in a medical healthcare environment.
Preparing and operating plan, identifying proposed locales, personnel, equipment requirements, special effects, sets, talent, wardrobe, etc.
Coordinating with production personnel to ensure proper lighting, blocking, framing, camera angles, sound and effects.
Reviewing footage and determining the acceptability and/or necessity to reshoot scenes.
Controlling camera movements and cuing in all audio and visual elements.
Directing live broadcasts and orchestrating on-air actions of production crews.
