Human Resources Division, Arlington, VA. The selectee of this position serves as a Supervisory Management & Program Analyst. You will be responsible for the management and tracking of staffing resources within the United States Marshals Service.

Duties

As a Supervisory Management & Program Analyst at the GS-0343-15 level, some of your typical work assignments may include: Managing workforce planning and analysis, data management and validation, and special studies and projects for all levels of USMS management. Exercising full supervisory responsibility in carrying out the objectives of the organization and responsibilities of subordinates. Providing advice and assistance to all levels of USMS management on workforce analysis and reporting and Position Control Number (PCN) management. Qualifications

GS-15 TIME IN GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-14 grade level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-15 grade level. (Must submit your SF-50 that shows Time-in-Grade eligibility and reflects your title, series, and grade. No award SF-50 will be accepted). You may qualify at the GS-0343-15 level, if you fulfill the following qualifications: One year of full-time specialized work experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service performing duties such as: 1) Appraising assigned programs to ascertain they are operating effectively and efficiently (e.g. re-engineering activities, solutions to improve business practices, etc.); 2) Providing advice, guidance and assistance to management officials and supervisors at all levels on resource analysis and/or modeling; and 3.) Supervising and evaluating the work of others. AND Possession of the following competencies: Organizational Awareness: Knows the organization's mission and functions, and how it's social, political, and technological systems work and operates effectively within them; this includes the programs, policies, procedures, rules, and regulations of the organization. Leadership: Influences, motivates, and challenges others; adapts leadership styles to a variety of situations. Oral Communication: Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately Note: Subject matter experts will evaluate all pages of work experience in your resume based on these competencies.
