The primary purpose of this position is to provide strategically focused approach to early risk identification, potential solutions and/or mitigation in order to achieve successful organic maintenance repair, supply chain management activation and sustainment of strategic business development.
Duties
Exercises first level technical and administrative supervisory authority by planning the work to be accomplished by subordinate employees, sets and adjusts short and long-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work.
Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the organization, ensuring that logistics management related operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs.
Establishes, revises, or reviews policies, procedures, mission objectives and organization design for the staff, as necessary to eliminate work problems or barriers to mission accomplishment, promote team building, implement quality improvements or in response to concerns with regulatory compliance and/or customer requirements.
Evaluates reports by analyzing facts and performing appropriate research and prepares detailed responses.
Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with partnering officials.

Qualifications
Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Position, Administrative and Management Positions Group.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least 1 year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-02, equivalent to the next lower grade GS-11 or equivalent in other pay systems. Specialized experience is experience developing analysis systems for programs managed to assess efficiency within a logistics operation, facilitates compliance rules and regulations (e.g. Title 10) to meet mission requirements. As well as, assigning work to subordinates with consideration of the performance standards and the capabilities of the employee for strategic weapon systems

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Knowledge of the applicable logistics management principles, concepts, policies, and laws; logistics functions, programs, and systems applicable to the duties of position; sources, responsibilities, and means for providing assistance and advice to resolve logistics problems; and all aspects of integrated logistics support
Thorough knowledge of theories and principles of logistics management planning, development, and execution.
Knowledge of safety, security, personnel management, and EEO regulations, practices, and procedures
Ability to identify, analyze, and translate complex information, make appropriate judgments, and evaluate options
Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and mentor, motivate, and appraise the staff of an organization
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social).
