Duties
This position is located under the Office of Management, Asset Forfeiture and Seized Property Division, Field Assistance Branch in Washington, District of Columbia.
This position will serve as Branch Chief, to direct and manage the comprehensive, sophisticated, and complicated operations of the Field Assistance Branch which provides guidance to the field and field divisions in the identification, seizure and forfeiture of assets for the express purpose of ensuring proper management and integrity of forfeitable assets, and to reduce potential for audit findings by enhancing compliance with forfeiture policy, regulations, and laws.

Qualifications
To qualify for GS-14, candidates must also have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-13.
This is a non-bargaining unit position.
Specialized experience is demonstrated experience, which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position. Experience must be in the normal line of progression or must be related to the work of the position advertised and must be reflected in resume.
Specialized experience includes all of the following:
Supervise and mentor branch personnel; AND
Provide support and guidance with pre-seizure and post-seizure activities, asset management, submission of financial and other supporting documentation, and/or vault audits; AND
Ensure cases within the field divisions are consistent and compliant with established DOF/ATF standard operating policies and procedures.
