You will serve as a Supervisory Financial Management Analyst of MY NAVY CAREER CENTER.
Duties
You will interpret standard organizational budgetary, accounting, or financial administrative procedures, practices and regulations.
You will research guides to locate accounting, budgetary and financial information and prepare summaries.
You will perform specialized work involving managerial or administrative work in connection with accounting systems, analytical, forecasting, and interpretive functions.
You will set priorities and schedule work as necessary to assure effective and expeditious accomplishment of priority work without adverse effect on regular and recurring work.
Requirements

- This is a Financial Management Level I certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Develops and documents operational procedures and techniques to facilitate the processing of financial data to assure financial integrity; 2) Makes financial determination on military pay, travel and fiscal accounting to provide support to customers; 3) Interprets fiscal/disbursing policies, programs and processes (i.e. FMR, JTR, public voucher directives) to provide staff guidance; and 4) Provides fiscal/ disbursing guidance (such as military pay, travel, accounting) to assist customers and/or leadership.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Have successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree.
OR
Have successfully completed two full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a master's degree.
OR
Have obtained an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to the position being filled.
