About the Position: This position is located at Womack Army Medical Center in Fort Liberty, North Carolina. Incumbent will perform a variety of clerical, administrative, and technical duties in support of meeting the department's objectives, mission, and operating programs.
The hours for this position are 0730-1630 M-F.
Duties
Assist administrative staff with tracking various provider and/or patient care data.
Pull reports for clinical operations or patient care.
Assist with administrative duties such as, timekeeping, travel orders, awards, and/or performance ratings for the department.
Maintain clinic empanelment ensuring proper balance based on patient acuity, provider credentialing limitations, strength of unit force, etc.
Assist with active-duty unit alignment based on unit identification code and capacity.
Support clinic providers with a variety of tasks, to include peer review process, annual credential review, encounter closures and performance metrics.
Assist all new civilian and active-duty staff with onboarding, in/out processing the clinic.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires incumbent to obtain and maintain a favorable result from a National Agency Background Check.
- This position has mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirements and is subject to annual seasonal influenza vaccinations unless otherwise exempted for medical or religious reasons (documentation of exemption must be provided upon hire).

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
Time-in-grade documentation: If you are applying for a higher grade and your SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you meet the one year time-in-grade requirement so you will need to provide an SF-50 which clearly demonstrates you meet the time-in-grade requirements (examples of appropriate SF-50s include Promotions, Within-grade Grade/Range Increases, and SF-50s with an effective date more than one year old).
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: maintaining time and attendance records for employees; using a variety of software programs to create files, retrieve reports, and statistical data; maintaining spreadsheets, databases and other documentation needed to monitor, evaluate and report the utilization of resources; and/or managing of a medical office scheduling/appointing system.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).

Proficiency Required: This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5-minute sample with three or fewer errors.
