About the Position: Logistics Management Specialist located within the AMCOM Logistics Center, Missiles Directorate.

Duties
Provide Total Package Fielding support for two Missile Systems that are transitioning from Middle Tier Acquisition to an acquisition milestone.
Provide updates, and briefings which includes planning, coordinating and tracking equipment to the Logistics Division Chief and Director of Logistics.
Develop and update Master Fielding Schedules, to ensure that all tasks are integrated into the Integrated Masters Schedule.
Coordinate and exercise managerial direction over the integration of supply, maintenance, new equipment training, fielding, item introduction provisioning for assigned systems during all phases of the life cycle.
Manage the prime contractor and coordinate with other government agencies and stakeholders to deliver effective NET.
Develop Statement of Work and Performance Work Statement language in the areas of Fielding and Training.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
- Army Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics Workforce position.
- Temporary duty travel (TDY) 25%.
- Submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes a mastery of advanced concepts, principles, practices and regulations pertaining to the broad field of logistics management related to weapon systems, project/program; integration of separate logistics functions; expert knowledge of the Total Package Fielding and or New Equipment Training (NET). This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS 12) grade.
