About the Position: Serves as the Project Manager's (PM's) Senior Business Management Specialist, with the responsibility for managing, directing, developing, controlling, and evaluating the procurement and business activities, monitoring, and evaluating the contractual activities, and performing acquisition and business research analysis for the Office of the Project Manager. Represents the PM as authority at meetings, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and conferences.
Duties
Manages the Complete Procurement Program for Armament Weapons Systems.
Responsible for managing, directing, developing, and evaluating the procurement and business activities, and evaluating the contractual activities.
Establishes and chairs IPPTs through the development of the Acquisition Strategy Report (ASR, Acquisition Plan, contract awards and complete life cycle of programs.
Requirements

- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for BUSINESS - COST ESTIMATING (BUS-CE) Certification within 60 months of entrance on duty.
- Incumbent is required to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450
- One year trial/probationary period may be required.

In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience is defined as having one year of specialized experience at the GS-13 grade level or equivalent pay band level in the Federal Service performing the following duties;
1.Developing Broad Procurement Plans for Armament Weapons Systems;
2.Developing overall procurement strategies such as; methods of procurement, source competence and/ or source selections; AND
3.Establishes Integrated Product/Process Teams (IPPTs) through the development of the Acquisition Strategy Report (ASR, Acquisition Plan, contract awards and complete life cycle of the PM's programs).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-???????12).
