Duties

Develop production cost estimates for internal and external customers. Assist with determining production cost for purchase of parts or materials. Assist with preparing cost estimates of man-hours and materials for logistics operations. Maintain office files such as production records, billing, or cost reports for audit purposes. Report discrepancies in program funding, schedules, or quality to the higher-level production controllers. Coordinate with work center managers on reconciled data, cost discrepancies, or outstanding service charges for the accounting purposes. Utilize an automated maintenance management systems to develop, maintain, or make changes to production schedules to ensure program goals are met.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• May be required to travel (TDY) 10% of the time for business purposes.
• Must obtain and maintain a Personnel Background Investigation (NACI).
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance for access to Depot Production Computer System.
• Temporary promotion may be made or extended up to a maximum of five years and can be made permanent without further competition.
• Temporary appointment may be extended in one year increments up to a maximum of three years but cannot be made permanent.
• Time Limited Detail NTE may be made or extended at management discretion.
