About the Position: Red River Army Depot (RRAD) is located in northeast Texas, 19 miles west of Texarkana and approximately 170 miles northeast of Dallas. Duties

Investigate discrepancies to forecast. Monitor and control project costs and schedules. Identify and minimize external organization delays. Conduct audits of shop orders and purchase orders to confirm they are correct. Adjust production schedules and prepare justifications for long-term overhaul work. Create schedules for production, manufacture, or procurement of products to be stocked or planned for. Analyze delivery date changes, shops or workload management to determine impact to master schedule, budget, parts, etc. Furnish detailed explanatory of material problems or irregularities and propose solutions to problems. Generate a manufacturing plan that encompasses the repair forecast, production capacity, internal and external customer forecasts, and inter-service requirements.

Requirements

• May be required to travel (TDY) 10% of the time for business purposes.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance for access to Depot Production Computer System.
• This position requires successful completion of the Project Management Professional (PMP) training within 3 years of appointment to position.
• Temporary promotion may be made or extended up to a maximum of five years and can be made permanent without further competition.
• Temporary appointment may be extended in one year increments up to a maximum of three years but cannot be made permanent.
• Time Limited Detail NTE may be made or extended at management discretion.
