This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.
It is in the Professional Work Category at the Full Performance Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA BUSINESS OPERATIONS DIVISION.
Duties
Acts as a Civilian and Military Personnel Liaison providing major staff assistance to Customer Account Managers in establishing, developing, analyzing, and maintaining all recruitment and personnel actions and efforts.
Plans, coordinates, and maintains the manpower management aspects of the military and civilian personnel assigned to DISA Global.
Coordinates with managers in the compilation of information for development of recruitment actions, position descriptions, performance plans, training plans, and awards.
Independently composes formal/informal written responses to internal and external customers on personnel, training, and administrative issues.
Serves as Alternate Government Micro Purchase Card Holder for training program, responsible for processing and maintaining applications and files.

Qualifications
In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below.
Qualifying Experience:
To qualify at the GG-11, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Experience in applying Human Resource policies and regulations; executing the development of training plans; processing military or civilian personnel actions; preparation and presentation of briefing materials.
To qualify at the GG-12, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Experience advising management on strategic manpower, recruitment, and placement; processing military or civilian personnel actions, performance, and awards; preparation and presentation of briefing materials to senior-level leaders.

Education
GG-11 Substitution of Education for Experience: Three full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree may be substituted to meet the qualifying experience requirement. .
