You will serve as an Educational Technician in the Marine and Family Program Division of MCAS BEAUFORT SC.
Duties
You will maintain control and account for the whereabouts and safety of children and youth ranging in age of 6 weeks to 18 years old.
You will plan, coordinate, and conduct activities for programs based on the needs of individual children and youth.
You will work with team members to prepare, arrange, and maintain indoor and outdoor activities.
You will explain youth program guidance, procedures, policies, and directives to team members.
You will work with Training and Curriculum (T and C) Specialist and supervisors to implement activities and special events that meet the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive needs of participants.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing support to the school age care program or Child Development Center; 2) Assisting with planning and scheduling of age appropriate activities, trips, and special event for children; and 3) Providing child guidance and caregiving techniques that support a program objective.
