You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT ASSISTANT in the NAVY PAY AND PERSONNEL SUPPORT CENTER (NPPSC) DIVISION of TRAVEL PROCESSING CENTER.
Duties
You will assist staff with questions and issues related to administrative functions.
You will operate automated computer systems to maintain and update electronic records and data.
You will compose, type, copy, and edit correspondence and reports from rough to final draft.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Prepare documentation and presentations in proper format; 2) Operate office automation to include software; 3) Provide a variety of support functions such as time keeping, travel arrangement, travel orders, and travel vouchers; and 4) Provide customer service to all employees within the organization. Education
In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of at least four full academic years of education above high school
OR
A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience
