A successful candidate in this position will serve as Program Analyst, that is responsible for managing nuclear weapons accountability and emergency verification programs. The incumbent will lead the support team ensuring continuous custodial tracking and accountability of all US nuclear weapons and accountable materials.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS NQ-03: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower NNSA pay band level or GS grade level (NQ-02 or GS-12) in the Federal Service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as experience conducting at least 3 of the following activities: 1. Managing or supporting accountable materials programs 2. Coordinating database reconciliation between Federal agencies 3. Reviewing and implementing nuclear weapon and nuclear weapon material accountability policy 4. Supporting database and reporting software development 5. Supporting Stockpile Emergency Verification exercises and events "Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
