Duties
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
As a Senior Refugee Program Monitor,you will use your knowledge and experience to serve the organization by:
Serving as an ORR Refugee Programs Monitor related to case management, economic empowerment, health, or assistance and social service programs.
Leading or participating in on-site or remote monitoring reviews, conducting all aspects of the review such as pre-monitoring preparation; grantee document review; case file review; and staff, client and stakeholder interviews.
Partnering closely with the ORR Refugee Programs Division of Refugee Health, Division of Refugee Services, or the Division of Refugee Assistance staff to develop and utilize rigorous data collection instruments and perform comprehensive on-site and remote monitoring of ORR grantees.
Participating in evaluative assessments and other data collection activities to understand the implementation and performance of ORR programs.
Collaborating with Monitoring, Evaluation and Analysis Team members on monitoring-related data analysis and visualization products.

Qualifications
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You must meet the Basic Requirement and Minimum Requirement to be considered for this position.
Basic Requirement: You must meet one of the items listed below (A, B, or C):
A. Possess a degree in behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position. (Must provide transcripts)
B. Possess a combination of education and experience -- that provided you with the knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. (Must provide transcript)
C. Possess four years of appropriate experience that demonstrates acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
AND
Minimum Requirement: GS-13: You must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and responsibility to the GS-12 level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors) performing (3) of the (4) duties listed below:
Providing economic empowerment, health, case management, mental health, and/or social services assistance intended to integrate refugees and other ORR-eligible populations to their new country;
Providing technical advice to stakeholders involved in providing services to refugees and other ORR-eligible populations;
Collecting, analyzing, and/or evaluating data to identify underperformance and promising practices among recipients of ORR refugee programs funding; and
Monitoring economic empowerment, health, case management, and/or social services intended to stabilize and integrate refugees and other ORR-eligible populations into their new communities.
