This National Guard position is for a HR SPEC (INFORMATION SYSTEMS/MILITARY) (TITLE 5), Position Description Number T5858000 and is part of the 151st FSS located in Salt Lake City, UT, with the Utah Air National Guard.
Priority will be given to all current, onboard employees of the UTANG.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Skilled in collecting and analyzing data effectively, efficiently, and accurately;
Ability to clearly enunciate English without impediment of speech that would interfere or prohibit efficient communication;
Ability to write English in reports and presentation formats;
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively;
Skilled in presenting formal training presentations and briefings;
Ability to assess body language and perceive emotional and/or distress levels; and,
Skilled in applying procedures and directives by reading and interpreting program material.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Must posses at least 1 year experience as a GS-0201-9? **MUST SUBMIT SF 50 TO SUPPORT SERIES CLAIM**
OR
Knowledge of, and skill in applying, a wide range of HRM concepts, laws, policies, practices, analytical, and diagnostic methods, and techniques sufficient to solve a wide range of complex, interrelated HRM problems and issues?
Knowledge of Air Force and Air National Guard standardized procedures and requirements related to operating departmental programs and extensive problem resolution skills for analyzing broad, complex, and controversial issues?
A high level of technical skill in personnel systems and knowledge of military personnel policies, processes, and specialty areas, and the ability to relate these knowledges to system processes/functions/capabilities to provide positive assistance in solving workforce issues; to provide advice on organizational structure; to conduct planned, systematic studies to identify long- and short-term needs of serviced organizations; and to help plan organizational or procedural changes?
Ability to analyze trends and forecast changes in personnel process requirements that will meet future mission demands?

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE-Organizational Requirement:
Must possess 10 or more years experience in the GS-0201 or GS-0203 Occupational Series Code? **MUST SUBMIT SF 50 TO SUPPORT SERIES CLAIM**
Education
Combine Education with Specialized Experience.
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or LL.M., if related
