About the Position: The pay band NH-04 includes the General Schedule grade equivalent to GS-14/15.
Other initiatives under the Acquisition Demonstration Project include simplified classification, streamlined hiring process and expanded developmental opportunities
Duties
Work with customer at management levels to resolve problems affecting programs/projects; maintains effective relations with other logistics
organizations to ensure support of mission requirements.
Establish, manage, and control a comprehensive Logistics review and assessment program covering all programs assigned to the Command;
optimizes, controls, and manages all resources across projects/programs.
Assign work to subordinates based on priorities and selective considerations of the difficulties of assignments and capabilities of employees;
identifies needs and makes provision for training and development of subordinates
Provides oversight, guidance and manages Facilities, Property Management, Safety and IT support for ILSC
Assess and provide strategic direction for resolution of mission critical problems, policies, and procedures
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Life Cycle Logistics
certification within 48 months of entrance on duty.
- One-year supervisory probationary period may be required.
- This is a Critical Acquisition Position. Critical Acquisition Position. The incumbent must sign a 3 year tenure agreement.
- This is a Security Cooperation Workforce (SCW) position. The selectee must meet position requirements for Advanced level, Life Cycle Management certification within 5 years of EOD.

Experience required: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job.
Specialized experience: To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (NH-03). Specialized experience is defined as: 1) Developing support strategies for facilities management; (2) Leading a team in the management of work space occupied by federal employees; (3) Managing property accountability, to include experience with FLIPL processing and reporting; (4) Providing management oversight of a safety program.
