About the Position: Works to implement and maintain current and emerging computer engineering work systems and tools used for the development of engineering projects.

Duties

Works to implement and maintain current and emerging computer engineering work systems and tools used for the development of projects, such as Dr Checks (technical review of design documents) and ProjectWise (engineering content management system). Acts as the primary liaison between CIO-G6 and the Division IT Coordinators. Serves as a technical specialist within the District in CAD, BIM, and emerging CAE technologies. Represents the interests of the Division on District knowledge management initiatives and plans.

You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: - Knowledge of Automated Information Systems - Knowledge of IT Support for a Large Organization - Communication Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).
