You will serve as a HEAVY MOBILE EQUIPMENT REPAIRER in the MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON.

Duties

You will complete corrective repair of equipment systems and subsystems to make the equipment safe and an acceptable operating condition. You will work on equipment powered with gasoline, diesel, propane, natural gas, electric, and alternative fuel engines. You will remove, repair, adjust and install equipment components, and subsystems. You will perform equipment inspections, system diagnostics and malfunction troubleshooting procedures to identify the proper adjustment and repair tasks to return the equipment to a safe and acceptable operational status.

• I currently have normal depth perception and the ability to distinguish colors.  I have normal hearing with or without corrective devices.
• You are required to perform repeated lifring of up to 45 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds.
• You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
