You will serve as an AIRCRAFT MECHANICAL PARTS REPAIRER in the MRO PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT of FLTREADCEN EAST.
Duties
You will have thorough knowledge of the procedures necessary to perform final operational tests of items reworked or overhauled.
You will be skilled in applying and adapting knowledge of equipment, adjustments, test procedures and test facilities and equipment to overhaul and modify components and assemblies.
You will have an understanding technical information sources and other applicable publications and they interpret and apply the technical data.
Requirements

- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- This position requires rotating shift work.

The Screen-out Element for this position is: ABILITY TO DO THE WORK WITHOUT MORE THAN NORMAL SUPERVISION
1)Disassembling, cleaning, inspecting, repairing, assembling, and maintaining the most complex mechanical parts of aircraft components according to detailed maintenance and repair procedures; 2) Disassembling and assembling operations and making prescribed modifications to aircraft engines, engine component assemblies, and accessories; 3) Replacing prescribed parts, checking dimensions and tolerances of parts to determine serviceability and making corrections as necessary; 4) Using special jigs and tools to work efficiently and reading and interpreting specification sheets when checking aircraft engine parts visually and dimensionally for damage or deterioration; 5) Troubleshooting complex components during disassembly and functionally test components/assemblies to determine the area of difficulty, parts required, and the methods and procedures to follow in completing work.
