You will serve as a QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST in the QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTION (QCI) Division of FLTREADCEN EAST.
Duties
You will review maintenance plans and technical data identifying quality characteristics to product acceptability.
You will serve as a point of contact on assigned projects providing written and verbal updates to incumbent's leadership and/or internal/external customers.
You will develop a comprehensive Quality Assurance management plan.
You will serve as a senior Quality Assurance specialist for assigned production areas.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing quality trends and status reports for use by management to minimize or prevent recurrence of Quality problems; 2) Evaluating rework procedures and operations of aircraft, aircraft engines, components, and accessories through analysis or inspection to ensure they are in compliance with requirements and regulations; 3) Identifying and inspecting quality characteristics in accordance with specifications, maintenance manuals, and customer feedback; 4) Providing guidance and recommending new policies, procedures, and processes to the Integrated Product Team (IPT)/competency leaders; 5) developing schedules and assigning work to personnel to perform quality assurance functions to meet program objective; 6) Conducting quality and safety related training for QA, production and support personnel.
