Duties
Provides analytical and advisory information on the effectiveness and efficiency of technical, and quality management.
Provides assistance to the Navy Engineering and Quality Assurance groups for all technical issues, to include drawings, critical item determination, and Bills of Material.
Monitors the supply chain actions performed Product Specialists in order to provide effective/efficient material management support for assigned production efforts.
Maintains cross-agency relationships and to ensure quality assets are available for issue when required and to alleviate material work stoppages.
Serves as customer advocate and liaison for coordination of material technical and quality issues.
Creates policy and coordinates with Business Process Analysts in the establishment of work instructions for Quality and Technical processes.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Supervisory Quality Assurance Specialist, your resume and supporting documentation must support:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Experience initiating and managing studies and coordinating projects regarding and affecting Retail Support plans and goals.
Providing assistance to Navy Engineering and Quality Assurance groups for technical issues, to include drawings, and Bill of Material.
Experience with developing regulations, legislation, methods and techniques used in technical/quality
Performing advance analytical principles and techniques, to analyze trends and conditions affecting Branch activities.
