The position is telework eligible consistent with the Agency’s telework and remote work program policy.This position is located in the Enterprise Data Office (EDO) in Federal Student Aid, Office of Strategic Measures and Outcomes. The primary mission of the EDO is to provide high quality data analytics to inform stakeholders and enhance FSA’s capabilities to make informed strategic management decisions.

Requirements

Qualifications
Minimum Qualification Requirements:You may meet the minimum qualifications for the GS-15, if you possess the specialize experience.
Specialized Experience for the GS-15One year of experience in either federal or non-federal service that is equivalent to at least a GS-14 performing ALL of the following three (3) of the following duties or work assignments:
Experience in the evaluation, assessment and improvement of Federal student aid programs and management systems by applying a wide range of qualitative and quantitative techniques.
Experience recommending adjustments to policies, Federal student aid programs, projects and studies resolving problems and improving operations and efficiencies in major core processes.
Experience in the preparation and presentation of required charts, briefings reports or statistical information on study results.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) The quality of your experience will be measured by the extent to which you possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs). You do not need to provide separate narrative responses to these KSAs, as they will be measured by your responses to the occupational questionnaire (you may preview the occupational questionnaire by clicking the link at the end of the Evaluations section of this vacancy announcement).1. Knowledge of a wide range of qualitative and or quantitative methods for the assessment of program activities to respond to controversial and complicated inquires and data requests.2. Knowledge of current and previous student financial assistance programs to develop/enhance programs and systems for the analysis of large amounts of data involved in the administrative of a portfolio. 3. Knowledge of data systems and repositories and the tools and languages needed to extract, analyze, and report Title IV Aid Programs data.4. Ability to prepare recommendations and responses in written and graphical format using the techniques for the optimum visual display of quantitative information.
