This is a permanent Career/Career-Conditional Full-time appointment. Position is located in Yosemite National Park, in the Facilities Division. Travel, transportation, and relocation expenses will not be paid. All travel, transportation, and relocation expenses associated with reporting for duty in this position will be the sole responsibility of the selected employee.

Duties

Performs supervisory duties to include completing work schedules and approving leave, handling employee relations issues, training and coaching subordinates, and filling vacant positions. Performs work in short and long range, daily operations and project planning, oversight and approval of purchasing, training, and travel for work unit, coordinating work with other departments and contractors. Performs carpentry, plumbing, painting, and electrical tasks. Performs minor to intermediate maintenance repairs and custodial operations in public use buildings, residential housing units, and campgrounds. Operates light to medium duty trucks for hauling supplies, removing debris, perfroming maintenace activities, etc
