You will serve as a SUPERVISORY HR SPECIALIST (HR DEVELOPMENT) in the WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT OFFICE of HDQTRS NDW.

Duties

You will advise employees, managers, supervisors or field activities on employee development programs, laws, and regulations. You will evaluate human resource workforce performance to identify training and development needs for employees. You will align employee development decisions with an organization's strategies, objectives, or mission goals. You will advise agency leaders on strategic human capital solutions to align employee development strategies with an agency's mission. You will develop training on performance management systems for an organization.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.

Qualifications

In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Leading others in providing services to meet workforce development needs of an organization; 2) Identifying developmental and training needs of subordinate employees by providing and/or arranging for needed development and training; 3) Facilitating the advancement of talent and initiative among a workforce through training, development, and career planning; and 4) Presenting workforce development data analysis to upper management with problems identified and solutions proposed.
