This position is located in the Albuquerque District Office, performing complex lands and realty work.
Duties
Serve as a primary point of contact for major lands and realty actions.
Provide technical program guidance and assistance to field office specialists and managers on key programs.
Provide project oversight including planning and scheduling milestones, defining tasks, monitoring, and evaluating progress.
Identify and resolve problems, ensure technical adequacy, engage stakeholders, and develop and track expenditures.
Use automated equipment, data, systems, and applications for collecting, entering, manipulating, updating and maintain data.
Identify the level and type of data necessary for National Environmental Policy Act documents or related studies and identifies and quantifies impacts on environmental resources and develops mitigation measures.

- You may be required to travel overnight away from home up to 5 nights per month. You must obtain a government charge card for travel purposes.
Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
Specialized Experience: Applicants must have one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service (obtained either in the private or public sectors) performing the following: (1) providing technical expertise on controversial lands and realty actions including rights-of-ways, communication sites, land acquisitions and disposals, permits, leases, withdrawals; (2) interacting with the public regarding realty matters involving public lands; (3) making recommendations for complex land and realty transactions related to lands and realty case work, planning systems, compliance, environmental analysis, budget, and public outreach; (4) utilizing an automated land/records system or other software application for collecting, entering, manipulating, updating, and maintaining data; (5) identifying and quantifying impacts on environmental resources and developing mitigation measures based on National Environmental Policy Act.
TIME-IN-GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-11 is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-12 level. (Must submit your SF-50 that shows Time-in-Grade eligibility and reflects your title, series, and grade. No award SF-50 will be accepted).
