Duties
Serve as the technical expert, specifically responsible for leading and providing District/Field oversight and guidance on nationally significant land tenure and other rights-of-way actions.
Implement statewide policy direction, technical guidance, assistance, training and program advice on priorities, quality control, and case completion for management and staff at the District/Field, State, and Washington Office levels.
Serve as a project manager/executer for major reality projects, which includes coordinating the activities on behalf of District and Field Offices for a variety of resource specialists and contractors to complete projects in a timely manner.
Have knowledge of real estate laws, principles, practices, and markets.

- You will be required to submit to a drug test and receive a negative drug test result prior to appointment. In addition, this position is subject to random testing for illegal drug use.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a valid state driver's license.
- You will be required to complete a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450 on an annual basis.
- The Bureau of Land Management has determined that the duties of this position are suitable for telework and the selectee may be allowed to telework with supervisor approval.
Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described below. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
Specialized Experience GS-12: Have (1) one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service (obtained either in the private or public sectors) performing at least 3 of the 4 following duties: (1) providing realty expertise based on in-depth working and comprehensive knowledge of the Federal Land Policy and Management Act, Mineral Leasing Act, National Environmental Policy Act, Endangered Species Act, National Historic Preservation Act, Title 43 Code of Federal Regulations, realty reports, and other pertinent laws and regulations; (2) handling assembled land exchanges, acquisitions, disposals, withdrawals, and the management of rights-of-way; (3) using automated systems for collecting, entering, manipulating, updating, and maintaining data for a realty program; (4) developing estimates, budgets, and tracking expenditures.
TIME-IN-GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-11 is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-12 level. (Must submit your SF-50 that shows Time-in-Grade eligibility and reflects your title, series, and grade. No award SF-50 will be accepted).
