Duties
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
As a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst you will use your knowledge of and experience with the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response to optimize business results and customer experience to:
Supervises and manages teams of specialist, coordinates program initiatives, or individually conducts in depth studies including developing policies and plans for public health and medical preparedness and response.
Designs and conducts comprehensive response and preparedness projects and studies where the boundaries of the project/studies are extremely broad and difficult to determine in advance.
Provide programmatic information to support justification materials prepared for annual budget submissions, including cost estimates for program activities, descriptions of annual program accomplishments and future program objectives.
Analyze and evaluate findings from Branch conducted work, and recommends more efficient, effective and economical ways to meet workload and program goals.
Develop talking points for the organizational milestone charts, support budgets for work modules and other information to leadership.

Qualifications
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Have one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
Providing technical oversight over subordinate staff and developing both long- and short-term plans and objectives to ensure goals are met;
Planning, scheduling and conducting projects to evaluate process and ensuring adherence to cost and schedule.
Determining the best approach or solution for resolving technical and complex issues relative to public health and medical preparedness.
Providing expert advice on policies and strategies that pertain to public health and medical preparedness and response.
