Duties
This position will allow you to provide expert advice and analysis to develop and deliver data products for USBP-wide stakeholders that are critical to decision-making. In this Management and Program Analyst position, you will assess USBP's ever evolving business needs and develops end-to end data processes to meet those needs. Typical work assignments include:
Developing and maintaining reports related to personnel data and other Workforce Management functions
Liaising directly with stakeholders in sister components such as HRM, and the Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR)
Utilizing Microsoft Office tools (Sharepoint, Power Apps, Excel, etc.) to gather and store data
Applying data management and analysis techniques to study, gather, interpret, develop, and report on USBP projections
Performing analytical work that applies data management theories, techniques, and methods for gathering, studying, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting of data
Qualifications
Experience: You qualify for the GS-14 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as:
Advising and consulting on a variety of problems involving the theory and application of data application methods
Directing complex studies requiring application of advanced analytical and statistical methods and techniques
Analyzing factual information, evaluating significant factors, and solving complex problems based on multi-faceted data
Developing new approaches to identify meaningful workload factors and performance quality levels, and determining accurate measurement techniques
Performing a comprehensive evaluation of current methods, and making recommendations regarding current methodologies and the interpretation of data

You must:
Meet all qualification requirements, including education if applicable to this position, subject to verification at any stage of the application process; and
Meet all applicable Time in Grade requirements (current federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade or equivalent grade band in the federal service) by 06/14/2024.

Probationary Period: All employees new to the federal government must serve a one year probationary period during the first year of his/her initial permanent federal appointment to determine fitness for continued employment.
