Qualifications
NOTE: You must meet qualification requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
To qualify for the GS-15 level, you must have 1 year of full-time* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level defined as providing cross-functional teams leadership, oversight or technical expertise related to strategic development, planning and execution of key performance indicator activities; establishing and monitoring performance measures to assess the effectiveness, efficiency, and progress of an organization or a multi-disciplinary team.
Your answers to the online assessment will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas:
Skill in applying program management methodologies.
Knowledge of Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL)/Infrastructure and Investment Jobs Act (IIJA) regulations/guidance.
Skill in program/project management.
Skill in quantitative and qualitative analyses.
Ability to evaluate and allocate programmatic resources.
Skill in drafting materials for senior and executive management review.
Skill in justifying, defending, or negotiating controversial matters.
Skill in collaborating across multi-disciplinary workgroups to achieve goals.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
