About the Position: Serves as the Civil Projects Support Branch Chief, reporting to the Chief of the Real Estate division. Assists the Real Estate Division Chief in managing and supervising the Civil Projects Support Branch. Incumbent has full responsibility for all management, technical and execution phases of the civil works real estate support program for the Baltimore and Philadelphia Districts.

Duties

Plan, direct and control the acquisition, management and disposal of fee property and lesser interests for USACE projects, programs and sponsors. Monitor the progress of priority and/or high visibility projects through the use of reports, programming documents, progress statements and other materials. Provide advice, assistance and support on real estate acquisition, management and disposal matters related to USACE Civil works projects and programs. Provide technical and administrative supervision to subordinate staff by delegating work assignments and providing administrative and technical advice.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • The duties of this position require travel up to approximately 50% of the time.
  • The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License.
  • Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement.
  • Position requires incumbent to obtain and maintain a Real Estate Contracting Officer Warrant.
  • This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one-year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
