About the Position: This position is located on Fort Belvoir, Virginia This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Duties

Provide guidance to healthcare administrators on Access to Care operations, business and strategic planning, program operations, and administrative operations within the Defense Health Network (DHN). Analyze administrative and clinical delivery systems to develop strategic focus for management team decisions and implementing changes to improve beneficiary access. Provide technical and administrative oversight for clinical administrators and Service Line Business Directors. Provide technical advice and assistance to clinical and administrative department chiefs on health program functions. Implement changes to improve the cost of healthcare delivery.

• A favorable Tier 3 background investigation is required for all Non-Critical Sensitive (NCS), Moderate Risk positions.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes evaluating and/or analyzing healthcare processes to improve health service delivery systems; providing recommendations on guidance, initiatives and projects; and developing proposals, analysis reports, and presentations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-12.
