Duties
Conduct meetings and briefs at all levels on projects and issues relating to branch and department activities.
Develop and review policies, practices, and procedures relating to Data Use Agreements.
Provide oversight for all issues relating to the release of information, health information, and data quality.
Analyze and explore trends in health care using a variety of economic indicators.
Propose and defend resourcing initiatives that affect the long-term planning and execution of staffing, budgeting, and facilities.
Provide support and subject matter expert advice on actions required to respond, mitigate, and report breaches of protected health information (PHI).
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- A Personnel Security Investigation is required.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.

Specialized Experience: One (1) year of specialized experience which includes providing strategic and operational planning support to a program within a healthcare facility; resolving issues and recommending solutions pertaining to budget cost factors, network privacy compliance, system analysis, and data user agreements.. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
Education
