Assists Security Specialists in coordinating daily operations of the ID and Credential Section that includes the security processing and issuing of identification and credentials for all new employees, trustees, fellows, contractors, interns, temporary visitors, and volunteers. The incumbent serves as a Registrar for the National Gallery's HSPD- 12 Personal Identification Verification (PIV) program and ensures the National Gallery’s compliance with related standards and regulations.

Qualifications
Candidates must meet the Qualification Standards Handbook requirements for the GS-0080-07.
For this position, specialized experience is at least one year of experience, equivalent in responsibility to the GS-05 or -06 level in the Federal service, performing specialized physical or personnel security work for a government entity.

Personnel Security – Knowledge of personnel security processes and guidelines.
Records Management – Skill in logging, finding, and maintaining records.
