You will serve as a IT Specialist in the MARINE CORPS INSTALLATIONS COMMAND (MCICOM) of MARCORPS NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION.
Duties
You will review, analyze, and evaluate actions and taskers and activities through correspondence, reports and briefings, and recommends, or directs necessary actions.
You will maintain a strategic level monitor-ship over all asset accounting activities in order direct needed actions or recommend them to the IT Equipment Asset Manager Team Lead.
You will keep apprised of accomplishments, trends, problems, and developments in associated areas, and recommends, or directs corrective or other form of managerial actions as appropriate.
You will coordinate the strategic level requirements over IT assest management conrols within the command General Equipment property accountability system to automate multiple affected organizations to a single authoritative business process.
You will determine overall strategic plan for near-term and long-range IT inventory management controls goals and objectives.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Coordinating and leading the development and updating of strategic plans and policies covering IT Equipment inventory management; providing staff directions, advice, guidance, and direction concerning subordinate organizations asset management capabilities and limitations in IT Asset Management policy and planning matters; developing long and short range planning guidance in accordance with broad agency program policies using project management methodology, IT planning, acquisition, and management processes.
Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. IT-related experience demonstrating this
competency include: Coordinate the strategic level requirements over IT asset management controls within the command General Equipment property accountability system in order to automate multiple affected organizations to a single authoritative business process.
2. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Develop policies, and processes, and procedures pertaining to IT General Equipment management controls.
3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Provide technical advice to the staff concerning the General Equipment property accountability management system and polices concerning IT material (hardware and software) asset accounting.
4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Develop solutions to problems and directs implementation.
