As a Supervisory IT Specialist you will serve as Program Manager responsible for for executing IT projects in support of the Program Operations Division and the USMS Strategic Plan.
This position is located in the Information Technology Division / Arlington, Virginia.
Duties
As a Supervisory IT Specialist at the GS-2210-15 grade level, some of your typical work assignments may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Developing and maintaining a Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Assessing the health and status of ongoing IT projects.
Providing authoritative direction and guidance to junior Program and Project Managers.

Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET security clearance.
- This is a Testing Designated Positions (TDP) and is subject to random drug testing.
- May be required to successfully complete a supervisory probationary period.
- Must be a Current Department of Justice (DOJ) employee and meet time-in-grade requirements for consideration. (52 weeks at the next lower grade level)

Qualifications
TIME-IN-GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Merit Promotion applicants must provide an SF50 Notice of Personnel Action that indicates proof of status and time-in-grade eligibility. The SF50 must include the position, title, series, grade, step, tenure, type of service (Competitive or Excepted) and career status (career or career-conditional). No award SF50 will be accepted as proof of status and time-in-grade eligibility.
One year at the GS-14 grade level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-15 grade level.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To be considered minimally qualified for this position, you must demonstrate that you have the experience required for the grade level to which you apply.
To qualify at the GS-15 grade level, you must meet each of the following:
Basic Requirement: You must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below:

Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.
Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
AND In addition to meeting the Basic Requirement described above, you must have the Specialized Experience described below.
Specialized Experience: Experience that equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Such experience is typically gained in the IT field or through the performance of work where the primary concern is IT. You must have at least one year (12 months) of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service performing the following duties:
Providing visionary leadership and guidance to Information technology (IT) employees and supervisors;
Managing existing programs and collaborates across information technology organizations to develop and maintain strategic level programs and services.
Executing IT projects in support of the strategic plan and will directly interface with peers and superiors both internal and external.
