About the Position: The Human Resources Assistant (Military/Office Automation) position is for the USAJFK Special Warfare Center & School located at Fort Bragg, NC.
Duties
Process Electronic Military Personnel Office transactions on incoming and outgoing personnel for accountability and submit information daily to the eMILPO Interface Branch.
Utilizes automated typing equipment to draft correspondence, ensuring accurate grammar, punctuation, and formatting.
Evaluate and receive various military personnel requests to include orders for hazardous duty pay, foreign language proficiency pay and reassignments.
Provide support with responsibility for monitoring, managing, reviewing, verifying, coordinating military personnel information and documents.
Maintain a record of orders in a logbook and guarantee, orders are processed in accordance with Army regulations and standing operating procedures.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent must obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- One year trial/probationary period may be required.
- Qualified typist required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes process military personnel actions, update and manage military personnel records, perform clerical and general office support tasks, and use automated information systems of software to produce, store, retrieve, or transmit data in support of office administration functions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05).
