Duties
You will perform or advise on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration which may include but are not limited to development, determination, and interpretation of budgetary policies and practices.
You will plan work, set priorities and schedule work as necessary to assure effective and expeditious accomplishment of priority work without adverse affect on regular and recurring work.
You will develop performance standards, evaluate employee performance, provide technical and administrative oversight, advice and instruction, and identify and arrange for employee developmental and training requirements.

- This is a Financial Management Level III certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d.You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Top Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience applying a mastery knowledge of the concepts, principles, practices, laws, and regulations of budgeting and/or financing and their relation to subordinate and senior levels. Knowledge must be sufficient to analyze national level programs, exceptionally large and complete programs; develop, recommend and implement budgetary/financial policies.
Experience interpreting, assessing and projecting potential impact of new/revised Congressional legislation.
Experience developing and rendering authoritative interpretations of executive order, OMB guidance within and across agency lines.
Experience applying knowledge of basic supervisory/management principles, practices, procedures and regulations.
Experience leading, supervising, motivating and counseling employees.
