As a Supervisory Building Codes Project Officer, you will deploy, manage, and monitor the IRA funded building energy code, zero energy code, or building performance standard awards. The incumbent will also support and implement best practices to advance or improve state/local building energy code programs, workforce training, compliance, and other supporting efforts across multiple U.S. domestic, state, and local jurisdictions. You will be a first-level supervisor of technical project officers.

Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS GS-14: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-13 in the Federal service or equivalent. Specialized experience for this position is defined as:
Oversees or leads award funding and tracks financial obligations and expenses throughout the planning, execution, and close-out of awards; AND
Analyzes project applications, deliverables, schedules, budgets, and billing and provides feedback to program and contracting officials; AND
Identifies, anticipates, and resolves problems with multiple projects using effective communication, milestone planning, and identification of project risks; AND
Leads the review, requisition, negotiation, monitoring, and compliance process for formula or competitive grants at DOE.
