Duties

Ensures that the Emergency Operations Center is properly prepared for the conduct of operations commensurate with the emergency or training exercise, as directed by the Installation Commander. Articulates and communicates to the team the assignment, project, problem to be solved, actionable events, milestones, and/or program issues under review and deadlines and time frames for completion. Tracks ongoing and planned operations and reports their status to local supervisors and higher headquarters, as required. Plans, organizes, and schedules meetings with installation activities to discuss organization support to the Garrison's mission. Identifies, defines, coordinates and provides recommendations based on staff analysis to resolve issues and conflicts that may arise.

Requirements

• Must obtain/maintain a Secret (Tier 3) Security Clearance.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
