About the Position: Maintain process control over supply chain activities, driving continuous improvement, and integrating strategic Army readiness for the warfighter.

Duties

Collaborate supply chain strategy, planning and execution guidance, and coordinate the integration of supply chain functions and programs to provide operational readiness to supported forces. Perform reviews to validate compliance with policy and procedure standards, of supply chain process performance and standardization compliance. Manage and support functional Leads in supply chain process execution and prioritization of process improvements. Provide authoritative advice and guidance on financial resources that affect supply chain plans, policies, procedures, and operations. Responsible for personnel management and authority in directing a staff of civilian and military personnel. Evaluate employee performance and provide advice, counsel, and guidance, conducts interviews with potential candidates for positions within the organization, and make or approve selections for nonsupervisory positions.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Managing Human ResourcesOral CommunicationPlanning and EvaluatingTechnical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
