About the position: This position will be assigned to Outdoor Recreation facility and is not guaranteed a set amount of hours, but can be scheduled 0 - 40 hours per week.

Duties
Responsible for maintain the Skeet Range facility and assisting the Outdoor Recreation Program (ODR) Manager in the development and layout of the skeet field to allow multiple gaming scenarios. Schedules, monitors and maintains a roster of participants who attend the required and/or applicable safety courses. Explains the boundaries, hazards, goals, and shooting and safety equipment usage, and safety precautions. Explains all other applicable rules of each respective shootings activity, to include range time, philosophy and ethics of the shooting game being conducted to include but not limited to: Trap & Skeet range. Maintains operating supplies to include nonexpendable, expendable, and resale items. Prepares facilities and equipment for health and safety inspections. Collects applicable fees, makes sales, prepares receipts, secure funds, prepares and makes deposits and forwards daily activities reports in accordance with procedures. Works under the supervision of the ODR Program Manager. Performs other related duties as required.

Requirements
- This position requires satisfactory completion of pre-employment checks in accordance with Air Force and DoD policy, and a Tier 1 background investigation with favorable results.
- This position has been identified as a Test Designated Position (TDP). The incumbent of this position will be subject to and must consent to a pre-employment and random drug testing.
- This position requires shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
Applicant must have experience that provided practical knowledge and/or experience of outdoor recreational activities, skeet machine operations and maintenance, rules and procedures in a recreation program activity to include loading, mechanical and usage. Must have knowledge of and skills in interpreting and applying regulations, policies, and procedures covering skeet range safety. Must be familiar with procedures followed in recreational group activities or programs. Must possess skill in dealing with customers and the public. Successful completion of National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) is required. Must satisfactory complete pre-employment physical. This is a testing designated position (TDP). The incumbent is subject to random drug testing as a condition of employment.

Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
