Duties
Serves as the subject matter expert in all aspects of the information, Tickets and Tours (IT&T) office. Responsible for planning, directing and supervising all operations of the IT&T program serving all eligible personnel. Works with the Community Services Flight Chief to implement higher level directives and formulate procedures and programs to ensure high standards of IT &T programs. Provides a large range of services to include ticket sales, tours and programs. Provides tickets to local theaters, sporting events, theme parks and museums. Plans, organizes, and coordinates the details of recurring and nonrecurring activities and special events, to include commercial reservation and ticketing services for airlines, hotels, cruises, tour packages, and other travel related services. Provides group tours in local, regional and international areas designed to stimulate and sustain the interests of participants. Provides clear and accurate guidance and coordination of leisure travel information and referral services for both individual and group customers. Schedules group tours and other related activities, ensuring maximum participation. Attracts and motivates participants by providing the widest possible range of activities in terms of community interests and needs. Maintains a working knowledge of cruise-line industries and tour company rules, regulations and procedures. Collects and deposits monies and prepares daily and monthly financial reports and information. Monitors and processes all payments made by AF contractors. Initiates actions/contracts to maintain displays of information for use by all customers. Gathers, monitors, and maintains data to complete reports and maintain program accountability. Resolves customer complaints, referring more technical complaints to supervisor. Works with the Marketing Office to develop marketing plans, surveys, programs, and strategies to enhance operations and determine the needs of the community. Publicizes IT&T programs in a manner to encourage maximum participation. Prepares NAF operating budgets; prepares NAF Capital Expenditure budgets, analyzes financial results, and maintains solid financial conditions. Operates Force Support tour vehicles or contracts for non-staff tour escorts. Manages real property resources and provides expert advice on renovations, improvements, and minor and major construction. Responsible for work force management, recruitment and staff training. Supervises assigned personnel; prepares work schedules, assigns duties, approves/disapproves leave requests, and prepares performance evaluations and disciplinary actions. Approves/Recommends cash awards. Responsible for all administrative duties to include work orders, time and attendance cards, receiving reports and cash collection reports. Reports directly to the Community Services Flight Chief. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
- This position has been identified as a Test Designated Position (TDP). The incumbent of this position will be subject to and must consent to a pre-employment and random drug testing.
- This position requires satisfactory completion of pre-employment checks in accordance with Air Force and DoD policy, and a Tier 1 background investigation with favorable results.
- Incumbent must maintain and possess a valid driver’s license.
- This position requires shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
Must have progressively responsible administrative, professional, technical or other work that has provided a general knowledge of management principles and practices; a thorough general knowledge of the goals, principles, methods and techniques of the broad field of recreation; and a thorough understanding of the recreation and leisure interests and motivations of individuals and groups. Must have progressively responsible experience in a military or civilian recreation program activity which has involved recreation work in the IT&T specialty. Must have responsible experience in developing or administering a budget program. Must possess a valid driver's license. Must have the ability to communicate both orally and in writing and be able to read, speak and write English. Must possess skill in dealing with the public. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). May be required to work days, nights, weekends and holiday. "THIS IS A DRUG TESTING DESIGNATED POSITION. Education

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements.
